This course is intended for students in Grades 10, 11 or 12 who wish to enroll in a secondary school Japanese course for the first time.  No prior Japanese instruction is necessary. This is an introductory and accelerated course to Japanese and will cover material from Japanese 9 and 10.  Successful completion of this level will enable students to enroll in Japanese 11.
