Introductory Japanese 11 will introduce students to the Japanese language as well as important aspects of Japanese society, culture, geography and history. The students will develop a basic vocabulary and an understanding of basic conversational Japanese. They will also learn how to read and write basic Japanese sentences. Students intending to take Japanese 12 must take Introductory Japanese 11 and Japanese 11.
