An Independent Studies class offers students the opportunity to develop and pursue their own educational goals as they relate to gardening and the production, sale and distribution of harvest boxes. Students will develop and self-assess their own learning goals in a flexible year-long course that is outside the timetable.  Students can expect experiential learning in the garden from September to November and March to June which will provide the skills and confidence to grow and maintain a sustainable garden of their own.

There will be weekly check-ins to provide accountability and support, however there is ample flexibility to suit every student’s schedule.
