This is the branch of math that most students will register in.  This branch of math allows access to all three branches of mathematics 11. Students should successfully complete Mathematics 9 and receive a recommendation from their math teacher to register for Foundations of Mathematics and Pre-Calculus 10. 

 This pathway provides students with the mathematical understandings and critical-thinking skills identified for entry into post-secondary programs that require the study of theoretical calculus.  Topics include: algebra and number, measurement, relations and functions, financial mathematics, and trigonometry.
