This course is a sport-specific program designed to develop student-athletes on a continuous, yearlong basis and will be offered outside of the timetable and in the mornings before the start of school.
The course is:
• Designed for serious student athletes.
• Focuses on developing explosive and functional strength – significant powerlifting and plyometric components (weight room 2-3 days/week depending on time of year).
• Integrates mobility, fitness, speed, and agility elements – (indoors/outdoors 2-3 days per week depending on time of year).
• Explores other factors affecting performance such as nutrition, recovery, mental preparation, and program building.
