Using various curricular competencies & learning standards, students will address the following in relation to the First Peoples of British Columbia:
- How the identities, worldviews, & languages of B.C. First Peoples are renewed, sustained, & transformed through their connection to the land
- How colonialism continues to impact the political, social, & economic lives of B.C. First Peoples
- How cultural expressions convey the richness, diversity, & resiliency of B.C. First Peoples
- How self-governance & self-determination can aid B.C. First Peoples to resist & challenge ongoing colonialism
