Previously referred to as Biology 12, this course is a study of human body systems and how homeostasis is maintained. Topics include biochemistry, cell biology, and body systems (including digestive, respiratory, circulatory, excretory, nervous, reproductive and immune). Life Science 11 and Chemistry 11 are helpful to have taken prior to this class, however, are not required.  Anatomy and Physiology 12 is recommended if you are pursuing a career in the health sciences, and it is a prerequisite for most post-secondary science programs.
