This course is open to Grade 10, 11 and 12 students. It focuses on the development of research skills, including students’ ability to access, use, evaluate and present information in many forms. Students will explore the organization, promotion and evaluation of library resources.  In addition, Library Science students will become skilled users of digital information sources and learn advanced internet and database search skills.  Career opportunities in the field of library and information studies will also be discussed.  Please note that permission of the teacher-librarian is required before registering in this course.
