Students will develop their intercultural knowledge and competencies through explorations of their individual, cultural, community, provincial, and national identities, and those of people from cultural and/or national identities that differ from our own. Through this course, students will gain the knowledge, awareness, and skills to navigate across cultures and understand the dynamics of global interconnectedness. This course is part of the Global and Intercultural Skills Program (GISP) that students may choose to enrol in. This course and program would give students access to short- & long-term ‘study abroads’ & ‘student exchanges’, as well as possible employment opportunities. Students that wish to enroll in the Global and Intercultural Skills Program will also receive a program certificate.
