Critical, analytical, and creative thought is emphasized through the study of literature and media. Students study fiction and non-fiction, including short stories, poetry, prose, and Shakespeare. Enriched content may include literature circles, non-print media and other drama. Students will write analytically, critically, and creatively throughout the course. It is expected that students enjoy reading and discussing literature, and are committed to developing their skills in literary interpretation and expression.
